It was an up and down weekend for all the Standridge's. В Not sure but Rick may have broke his hand at Pevely on Saturday night. В Richie struggled on friday at belleville winning the semi to be taken out in the feature. В Jeremy finished 3rd in his heat at Farmington, started 12th and brought home a 10th place finish in a rubber down racetrack.
" Today was a good night, we learned alot with the new shock package and new car, along with how the new goodyear tires are, all in all, we got a top 10 finish and car came back in one piece." (Jeremy Standridge)
В
Jeremy got up early on Sunday, to wash the car and take the racecar to Weebles Bar and grill car show, it was a great turnout and a good time with great friends. В Check out the Misc Category in the photo gallery as a few photos from the car show were added.
В
Next up for Jeremy is Puducah KY, and Pevely MO on Friday and Saturday. |

Well the season has started for me and my dad this past weekend.Friday night we went to Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville il.where dad raced Donnie Rogers' #ZERO modified and had a little bad luck. While the car was fast the racing gods didnt favor him with a broken driveshaft in the feature. It was the first night out for me in the rebuilt Larry Shaw Chassis latemodel.the night started off crazy with having no rear brakes in hotlaps but we got that problem fixed in time to run the heat race where i missed the transfer spot by one and had to run the semi and transfered to the feature with a 3rd place finish in it.I wasreally happy to make the show we started 18th and steadily move to the front where we finished a respectable 11th with the car in one piece.
Saturday we were going to go to Peoria for the 4,000 to win show but ran out of time so we decide to go to I-55 Speedway in Pevely,Mo instead where dad ran the Latemodel.I would love to say that we won but we were not that fortunate we still had some bugs to work out on the car.By feature time we had the car in decent shape as Dad started the feature in 20th and in a few laps had passed 7 cars on his way to the front but was collected in a wreck on the front staight that had 7 cars in it ofcours the guy who caused the wreck drove away with no problems but we had a flat tire that put us out for the night.
up next for us will be Belle-Clair on friday and saturday is not decided yet |
